Super Bowl Sunday
It's 5:30am....though JoAn and I are comforted by Ellie sleeping with us during this early nursing/adjustment stage...I had a night where every little sigh/squeek/moan/and tiny fart that came from Ellie kept me awake. Two nights ago, needing sleep to go to work the next morning I decided to sleep on the couch. The result was sleep, the price, a stiff neck that aches even now. I did my AM workout routine (details below for anyone interested) and feel much better. The three of us went out to dinner as a family for the first time. One of the many reasons I love living in Los Angeles....we ate at an Italian restaurant OUTSIDE! It was wonderful....Ellie slept in her stroller the whole evening. Going to play golf at a local course at 7 this morning...JoAn wants to take Ellie for a walk later then we'll settle in to watch the SUPER BOWL from DETROIT!!
Plan to make some phone calls....Mom told me Al (sister Sharon's son who has a loft downtown) is hosting a party....... I plan to crash with a call.....talked to Dave (brother) and Linda (his wife) Friday about their trip out here at the end of March....can't wait!! That's all for now....coffee is done...
oh yes... the workout I mentioned about....it's called PX5 Workout Routine from a phamplet downloaded from the Internet....published in the 1940's by the Royal Canadian Air Force....an efficent 20 min. workout done without any equipment....I love it and I've never felt more fit, healthy and solid. Important to this 56 year old father of four....the youngest being 3 weeks old...
