Leonette's great restaurant pick...

On our way to see Ron & Margaret yesterday we all stopped at Trattoria Mollie in Montecito (wealthy little community just outside Santa Barbara) for lunch. Leonette picked the place out and all of us present agreed it was great (well, Ellie seemed a little angry at times). Meatballs with raisins were a hit. (thank you Nathalie for your generousity, JoAn's sweet cousin who calls me, Mr. Tom)
Besides being a fantastic lunch, sitting at the next table, celebrating with family, was Kirk Douglas! The kind actor actually touch and complemented our little Ellie! On the way out he turns to Jo An (breastfeeding Ellie with a blanket covering her) and says, "You take good care of that little baby", sounding like Marlon Brando in the 'Godfather'. It was great!
Went on the enjoy a wonderful time with Ron & Margaret, telling family stories and entertaining Miss Ellie.
Hope Gotee (family dog) didn't feel neglected.
