Ellie meets Aunt Sharon & Uncle Leon in Death Valley...

We all set out Sunday morning and drove to Death Valley (about 4 1/2 hours) to meet up with Ellie's Aunt Sharon & Uncle Leon. It was a great visit in a magical place.
Early Monday morning, Ellie and I went out for a walk in the desert with Uncle Leon.
When we looked back towards the road, there was a large, healthy coyote!
The coyote was checking out our delicious, meaty daughter, I took photos and Ellie's brave Uncle Leon stood guard with a large rock at the ready...

Ellie got to pet a horse and as you can see, really enjoyed it..
