The BIG move....
WOW!!! I'd love to say never again (something we like to say after every move of residence) but you really never know for sure...
I did think since we were paying someone to move us it would somehow be better but Noooo...the company "Starving Students" moved us and I can say for my part I don't think they are starving anymore...it costs way too much and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I like.
We LOVE our new place....its big (1900 sq. ft) its close to the college where we both work (435 walking steps) and close to Ellie's daycare (380 walking steps). We are 20 blocks from the ocean and 15 minutes from LAX.
Ellie adapted quickly....the first night we stayed she was watching a DVD in the bedroom upstairs alone while Jo An and I worked feverishly downstairs with the many boxes that needed our attention.
