Winter Olympic closing ceremonies...

Ellie and I were watching the closing ceremonies when a commentator mentioned our president, Barack Obama. Ellie says, Barack Obama!! and I say, "Yes, Ellie, he's our president." Ellie says, "What's a president?" I reply, "He's our leader". Ellie says, "I don't get it". "I know Diego and chicken." (reference to Diego and cartoon character she loves and chicken, her favorite food). Go figure. Ellie logic. I should have known. I was especially touch by the Olympics this year because my mother loved watching the Olympics and this was the first since her passing. "Mom, you would have loved this one too."
