at the beach....

Jo An, Ellie and I have gone to the beach three times in the last week due to a heat wave in the valley where we live. This is a photo from Malibu Beach near the pier.
Ellie loves it (and to all concerned she wears plenty of baby 45 sunscreen)
We walk the beach together and what I've noticed is that she's seems unimpressed with surfers, pelicans, seagulls, the ocean and the pier....what does she get excited about, small children playing....they all must be kindred spirits
