Mornings with Miss Ellie.....

Jo An went back to work this week. So Monday thru Friday from 7am to 12:30pm its the Ellie and Tom show! Naturally she cries when she realizes her Mommy is not around but I explain calmly that "Mommy's at work and will be home later." My favorite response is, "Oh". We play on the floor for as long as the toy thing works. An empty pie tin from Jo An's friend Judy lasts longer than any of the 'toys'. I nervously watch as she climbs up on everything and strategically place pillows where she may fall. Naps seem precious & rare now. We go for walks every morning. Crying & laughing share equal time and sometimes I can see the 'flip' coming to the 'other side'. Ellie needs to be held alot during our mornings but what the hell...she's a baby...
