November in the valley with Ellie....

We love November...it's still quite warm during the day and the mornings and evenings are cool. Ellie gets a couple of walks a day. Although the neighborhood yards are always full of interesting a fragrant flowers, this seems to be the season when the grass needs fertilizing so the smell of manure dampens the experience a bit.
Ellie is daily taking three to four steps then plops to the floor with a proud smile. She loves table scraps, especially chicken. Cheerios can be found most anywhere; in her stroller, high chair, the sofa and her diapers. I tend to blame the holes in Cheerios for Ellie's grown-up farts.
The following is a list of Ellie's latest gestures and limited vocabulary:
Patty cake (including 'roll them up')
Waving bye-bye
Clicking her finger with her thumb (no sound yet)
Hands on both sides of her head meaning 'Oh my goodness'
Da-da
Ba-ba
Oh
Who

Stay tuned...definitely more to come...
